LICOR IRDye 680RD NHS Ester Infrared Dye (5mg)
IRDye infrared dyes from LI-COR Biosciences are available for researchers developing applications using near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence. These unique dyes are used in a variety of NIR imaging applications including Western blotting, plate-based assays, protein arrays, tissue section imaging, and molecular activity measurements. Standard NHS ester chemistry is used to produce custom probes labeled with LI-COR IRDye infrared dyes. The NHS ester reactive group provides the functionality for labeling primary and secondary amines, such as lysine residues in proteins.

Biotium Fura-2, Pentapotassium Salt
Fura-2, pentaammonium salt is a ratiometric fluorescent dye that binds to free intracellular calcium. It is membrane-impermeant and may be loaded into cells via microinjection or scrape loading. A major use of Fura-2 is in drug discovery, for measuring intracellular calcium mobilization after activation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and calcium channels. CD98 exits as a heterodimer containing a disulphide-linked glycosylated heavy chain and a non-glycosylated light chain. It is a member of the solute carrier family and encodes a cell surface, transmembrane protein. The protein exists as the heavy chain of a heterodimer, covalently bound through disulfide bonds to one of several possible light chains. The encoded transporter plays a role in regulation of intracellular calcium levels and transports L-type amino acids. Alternatively spliced transcript variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

Phalloidin is a phallotoxin produced by death cap mushroom Amanita phalloides. It is a cyclic peptide which interacts with actin and this was first identified in phalloidin-poisoned rats. It is a heptapeptide cyclic in nature with a crosslink between tryptophan at position 6 and cysteine at position 3. The side chain of amino acid 7 (I3-δ-dihydroxyleucine) in phalloidin is accessible to modifications through which fluorescently labelled phalloidin compounds can be produced.

Biotium CF405S Tyramide
CF dye tyramide conjugates can be used for tyramide signal amplification (TSA), which is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high-density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid in situ. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes.
